Welcome to the July Newsletter!

If a swallow does not make a summer, at the latest a July edition of the AEC newsletter should.

In the run-up to the decision to switch to monthly publication, it has also been discussed to omit the summer months. But as you can see, we decided against it. Europe never sleeps, neither does AEC, especially not in these turbulent times.

AEC & Advocacy - Together we stand strong

Opera Vision
Opera Vision is a Creative Europe Partnership project run by our partner organisation Opera Europa, focusing on the maintenance and further development of an online platform that makes opera productions from many European opera houses accessible to a wider audience.

Expanding the Student Network
The Student Working Group has strengthened its position and the position of music students significantly. Our goal is to be in touch with students from every AEC member institution, strengthening the network and creating an inspiring community to improve Higher Music Education in every institution. You can help, by sharing!

AEC invites its members to register for the ELIA Academy 2019, taking place in Stuttgart on 25-27 September. The event embraces the theme of digitality in higher arts education, exploring the challenges and opportunities that originate from the implementation of digital tools and practices in the sector.
