AEC Newsletter March 2021
Dear colleagues and friends,
Corona has a firm grip on us since one year now. When everything started in March 2020, nobody expected that the topic would still dominate the headlines a year later. In the meantime, we got used to things, but also learned some lessons. When looking back to these crazy times in a couple of years from now, we might remember that this was when innovation boosted in one or another way.
But let's not forget what sacrifices the cultural sector has made. Some venues will remain closed forever and some people who were at ease to make a living as freelance musicians for years will switch profession and never come back.
The AEC office wishes all of you a lot of strength and power in order to survive the coming months and the challenges of a hopefully soon coming post-COVID period.
