AEC Newsletter May 2020
Dear friends and colleagues!
Even if it could be seen as if the worst is over in Europe, Corona still keeps us in a state of emergency. Some things have become routine and new habits have emerged.

We are still paying particular attention to the immediate economic, social and cultural impact of the pandemic, but the question of how the world will look like after Corona and how we can pro-actively contribute to shaping this development is popping up on our agendas. You can read more about this topic in this newsletter.

The AEC office wishes you much strength to deal with the crisis. Stay healthy and don't forget to enjoy spring.

Update from the AEC Office Team
Esther Nass, Office and Project Coordinator since October 2017, is leaving the AEC Office at the end of the week to join a social entrepreneurship start-up based in Berlin. In addition to a variety of office management tasks, Esther was in charge of coordinating the 4-year-project Strengthening Music in Society as well as of supporting the Student Working Group. She gave a great impulse to the implementation and running of the project and in particular to the development of synergies between the various working groups.
We are very thankful to Esther for her dedication to and hard work for AEC and for being a wonderful colleague.
From June 1st, Paulina Gut, Project and Events Coordinator since 2018, will take over the coordination of the SMS project. She will be supported by a new Office and Project Coordinator (ongoing recruitment).
