AEC Newsletter September 2017 in English, French and German |
 |
Dear colleagues and friends,
Summertime is coming to an end, and we hope you have started the coming academic year with many new ideas and fresh energy. This newsletter might support you to find your way back into your daily work by providing useful information about AEC's past and upcoming activities, projects and events.
The FULL SCORE project ended just a few weeks ago and we are proud to include in this newsletter information about some of the project outcomes such as a publication on the enhancement of student voice in conservatoires, a media report on audience engagement, a revamped job vacancy platform, etc. Although the next Creative Europe project "Strengthening Music in Society" (SMS) is only beginning in December, the preparations are already running at full speed. We would particularly like to draw your attention to the various calls for membership for new AEC working groups that we will publish shortly.
As usual, the academic year starts with a number of exciting AEC events. After the IRC meeting which takes place in Georgia in the coming days, we hope to welcome you all at the AEC Annual Congress 2017 in Zagreb, to meet old and new friends and share views and interesting discussions around this year’s Congress theme "Leadership in the Arts - The Art of Leadership".
We hope you enjoy reading this newsletter and we wish you all a successful academic year 2017/2018!

AEC Job Vacancy Platform
Growing strong!
AEC Members can directly post information about the vacancies available at their institution by filling in a very simple form describing the job tasks and requirements.
This platform, which has just been revamped, allows AEC institutions to gain international visibility; it enables potential interested professionals within the whole European higher music education sector and beyond to see and apply for the positions advertised, which at the same time contributes to the international development of the AEC institutions. Please forward this information to the person in charge within your institution!
