Early Music in the 21st Century, a conference for performers, academicians and pedagogues, will take place on 15-17 October 2021 at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The conference is for all those committed to the future of the early music field. Its aim is to produce a collection of essays entitled "Early Music in the 21st Century" through a three-step approach: reaching to international academic and early music circles, providing an opportunity to meet, present and discuss ideas through live and/or online symposium, and publishing the resulting collection of essays to reach an even broader audience. This conference will offer a chance to reflect the future of the early music movement and provide a platform for new topics and voices that have yet to be heard in the western classical music landscape. Experienced and young academics, practitioners and pedagogues will contribute their thoughts on a wide range of musicologies, approaches and perspectives.

Those interested in submitting a paper or presentation for the conference can send their abstracts and a short biography before 31 January 2021.
