The 6th Józef Ciepłucha International Academic Oboe and Bassoon Competition is organised by the Department of Wind Instruments of the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University of Music in Łódż and “Muzyka do Potęgi” Foundation.
The Competition will take place on 26-29 April 2021 at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University of Music in Łódź, and is divided into two categories, oboe and bassoon.
This year’s preliminaries – Stage I of the Competition – will be conducted online only, while the auditions for Stage II and Stage III, as well as the concert of the prize winners, will be held at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz University of Music in Łódź.
The Competition is open to first-cycle (bachelor) and second-cycle (master) students of oboe and bassoon classes of all nationalities who are under 26 at the beginning of the Competition. The Competition is also open to talented secondary school students who meet the competition/programme requirements.
