AEC-Vicepresident Georg Schulz presented on 5th September at the 39th Annual Forum of EAIR (European Higher Education Society Linking research, policy and practice) in Porto his considerations on Lessons Learned from Developing Performance Indicators for Higher Music Education within the U-Multirank system.
EAIR, the association for professionals in the area of higher education management and for academics researching the area, accepted his paper to be presented at conference track 8 Performance and Assessment. During the lively discussion, different stakeholders in the audience with no artistic background were interested in the way the AEC U-Multirank Working Group (WG) had approached the difficult challenge to find indicators for Higher Music Education Institutions. Especially research-based artistic output and WG´s understanding of knowledge transfer have been discussed.
