AEC informs its members that Nerea Lopez de Vicuña Iradi, who has been a member of the AEC Office team since October 2013, has decided to leave the AEC office in October 2017. All those who had been in close contact with her appreciate how carefully and reliably she was tackling all kinds of tasks that were entrusted to her, from membership management to FULL SCORE budget management as well as the coordination of the AEC Student working group – which, without Nerea, would not have come so far in such a short time.
But Nerea cannot be kept in a cage. Her Basque origin has given her a lot of passion: for people, for art and culture, for movies, for foreign languages and for the encounter with the unknown. Finally, it is her longing for the new and her curiosity that led her to leave Brussels and start a world trip. AEC expresses its gratefulness for her committed and high-level work. We will deeply miss her.
From the 1st of October, Nerea's position as will be taken over by Esther Nass who already worked as an intern with AEC in 2016. Esther will be reachable at the same email as Nerea: info@aec-music.eu.
