From 13 May until 17 June, the new Contemporary Performance Festival CPPM Manifestal is taking place in Tallinn and is streaming online worldwide, summarising the development of the two-year MA in Contemporary Physical Performance Making (CPPM) students’ studies at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater.
The international team of artists behind the diverse programme are from South-Korea, Italy, Austria, Australia, Croatia, Malta, Latvia and Estonia. The programme that consists of 13 premieres, nine audio walks and over 200 performances, holds a unique combination of works, ranging from solo to big ensemble, from the politically engaged to the aesthetic, from the kinesthetic to the technological.
In collaboration with elektron.art, the festival streams 12 performances to offer the global audience a chance to take part and experience the modern combination of dance, theatre, sound, multimedia and creativity from afar. The live-streamed performances are followed by post-performance talks with the artist.
Single tickets and festival online passes are available on the CPPM Manifestal website.
The festival is supported by the Estonian Cultural Endowment. Partners: Kanuti Gildi SAAL, Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava, Uue Loomingu Maja, eˉlektron, Estonian Dance Agency and Estonian Academy of Arts.
