Genus conference – Increasing the awareness of gender equality and role models perspectives

Genus is an international partnership project developed by the University of Agder (Norway), Malmö Academy of Music (Sweden) and the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus/Aalborg (Denmark) and supported by the Nordplus network for Higher Music Education.

The project aims at increasing the awareness of gender equality and role models perspectives in music education and providing students and teachers with practical tools in order to ensure gender balance within the institutions.

The third edition of the Genus Conference will take place in Malmö on 14-15 March, and topics like gender balances in the landscape of post music education will be addressed.
