MA in Contemporary Physical Performance Making (CPPM) at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre is a ground-breaking course that takes postgraduate education out of the classroom and puts practical experience with world-leading makers of performance at the heart of the learning process.
Uniquely, the course recasts the teacher-student relationship as one in which students will act as fellow collaborators with the Guest Artists.
We look for candidates who are committed artists who aspire to articulate, develop and establish their own vision through contact with a wide variety of styles and aesthetics.
Over the two years of study, students will follow four terms of intensive study, organised into periods of two or three months in the studio, followed by breaks in which they will continue developing their craft.
CPPM will be accepting 16 students every two years so that we could give our full attention and support to accepted students for the entire duration of their studies.
Application deadline 15 March 2019
