For the very first time, the International Van Wassenaer Competition will present a competition for ensembles who specialise in the repertoire from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance (< 1600). The competition will take place as a part of the Utrecht Early Music Festival (23 August – 1 September), the IVWC will be held from 29 to 31 August. Competitors can win several interesting prizes, including masterclass cheques and a paid for concert tour in the Utrecht Early Music Season.
