The COVID-19 crisis has hit the culture sector very hard. Concert halls, venues, festivals were the first to close and the last to reopen, with a part still not operating at all. Despite strict confinement to temper the pandemic, music didn’t stop, including live music! There is a need for a new approach to career-related education in conservatories. Knowledge, skills and mind-set is important for all not only to cope with change but to see change as opportunity.
The SMS Working Group 3 on Entrepreneurial mind-set for musicians (WG3) is currently developing a set of podcasts addressing relevant topics on this subject.
On Friday, November 27, 11:00 – 12:30 (CET), WG3 will host a seminar related to the first episode of the podcast*, on the theme: The entrepreneurial mind-set in time of uncertainty.
No registration and no fee are required to join this session, the seminar will be hosted on Zoom and accessible via this link. For interactive discussions, listening to the podcast* before joining the session is highly encouraged.
