AEC is looking for a Communication and Advocacy Officer (full-time position) to join its Brussels-based office. We are a dynamic and international team working for the advancement of Higher Music Education.
 
The Communication and Advocacy Officer will take up the following tasks:
  • Monitor AEC’s communication strategy and advise the AEC Office Team and AEC Council in relation to its further development
  • Support the Office Team with implementing AEC’s advocacy strategy, by monitoring policy developments and news in the fields of education and culture and by representing AEC at external events
  • Coordinate the production of online announcements on the AEC website, through the AEC newsletter and through AEC social media channels and of printed material, bearing in mind content, translation and design as well as AEC Visual Identity
  • Maintain, update and monitor the AEC and SMS websites, including the online Members’ Database
  • Supervise interns completing a Communication Internship with AEC
  • Undertake personally the work of the AEC Office related to two specific projects: Strengthening Music in Society (SMS) and METRIC Network.
