The Leadership and Organisation for Teaching at European Universities (LOTUS) project has been granted funding by the European Commission.
The LOTUS project is coordinated by the European University Association (EUA) together with the Irish Universities Association (IUA), the Finnish Ministry of Education, the Vienna University of Economics and Business; European Students' Union (ESU) and European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE). AEC is involved as associate partner.
The project aims to develop a programme for capacity building in Learning&Teaching (L&T) strategic change management, mainly targeting vice-rectors in charge for L&T. It emphasises the role of leadership and participatory approaches for implementing L&T strategies, involving staff and students across the institution. It will also promote inter-university exchange and collaboration by exploring how higher education networks, L&T organisations, and governments can support them.
The project will run over two years, from April 2020 to April 2022.
