Many AEC member institutions are interested in adding generic skills to the qualification profile of their studies. Among others, these include communication skills (e.g. explaining one´s own point of view on an artistic or pedagogic matter), entrepreneurial skills (including networking) or addressing issues of global cross-linking of music.
The attendance and active participation in an AEC event can contribute to the enrichment of the students´ learning experience. 

With this in mind, the AEC has launched a proposal for a potential procedure to allocate ECTS to the AEC member institutions students willing to attend AEC events.
