Due to the Corona virus outbreak, many exchange students found themselves facing the dilemma of what to do ( "shall I continue my Erasmus or shall I go home?") and many other doubts ("what are the consequences on my academic career?").
On 20 March the European Students Union and the Erasmus Student Network organised a webinar to answer students' questions on the consequences of the virus for the Erasmus + programme.
The webinar featured the following contributors from the European Commission's Directorate General for Education and Culture (DGEAC), as well as representatives from the Italian and German National Erasmus Agencies :
– Oana Dumitrescu, DGEAC
– Elena Tegovska, DGAEC
– Martin Schifferings , Erasmus + NA Germany
– Claudia Peritone, Erasmus+ NA Italy
The entire Webinar is available on Youtube and a transcript is on ESU's website. International Relations Coordinators of AEC member institutions and music students on exchange are warmly encouraged to watch the recording and read the transcript of the webinar to find out proposed solutions to the common problems and doubts that are facing in these difficult times.
