The RENEW project – Reflective Entrepreneurial Music Education Wordclass (2016-2018) – aims to promote entrepreneurship as an important component of higher music education (HME) programmes.
The RENEW working group members met in Oslo at the end of April to shape the project activities and to present the project progress at the Conference on Entrepreneurship in Music hosted by the Norwegian Academy of Music on 27-28 April. 5 international student boot camps on entrepreneurial skills in Music will be organised for students of the project partner institutions, as well as 5 local staff training sessions.
The first international student boot camp will take place in the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London in early October 2017. The material and outcomes of the activity will be shared on the AEC website.
Information about the project objectives and activities is available on the AEC website. In addition, the RENEW final conference in early autumn 2018 in The Hague will enable the partners to share and discuss their findings and tools with the whole AEC membership and with relevant partner organisations and stakeholders.
