AEC informs its members that Barbara Lalić, who has been a member of the AEC Office Team since August 2020, has decided to leave the AEC office and take a break in her working life. 

All those who have been in close contact with her appreciate how she contributed to AEC’s activities, from organising the AEC General Assembly and the Pop and Jazz Platform Meeting to coordinating the PRIhME project and supporting the AEC Student Working Group – and the establishment of the European Performing Arts Students’ Association (EPASA), the AEC Goes Green working group, as well as the AEC Council and ExCom. Barbara also welcomed and supervised all the interns who joined the AEC Office team since August 2020.

The AEC Council members and the Office Team members would like to express their gratitude for Barbara’s committed and high-level work. We will miss her.

Barbara’s position as Office and Project Coordinator will be taken over by Ashkhen Fixova who joined the team on Monday. Previously she worked as Project Manager in a Brussels-based human rights and advocacy organisation with a particular focus on projects aimed at promoting closer ties between the EU and the region of the South Caucasus. She has vast experience in project management, event organization, policy-making, and research.
