The First European Music School Symposium will take place from October 6th to 7th, 2017 in Vienna, Austria.
With this symposium the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna wants to start a discussion between European experts, scholars and academics on the positioning, environment, missions and impact of music schools in Europe. Due to social changes music schools face big challenges – the different strategies and creative approaches in European countries will ensure inspiring scientific lectures and fascinating discussions.
The European Music School Union (EMU) is looking for experts, scientists and scholars who have done research in this field. We would ask you to forward this "Call for presentation" to Universities and Colleges which might be interested in contributing to our symposium. The proposal submission deadline is March 10th 2017.
Applications for attendance start in April 2017.
