The International Opera Academy (IOA) is looking for a Teacher Conducting
This is an unprecedented opportunity for anyone with the ambition to participate in a Specialised programme for Higher Arts Education. You will be working in an international context at the bustling artistic site of De Bijloke, at the centre of Ghent. The IOA is allied with Opera Ballet Vlaanderen.
As a Teacher Conducting, the IOA will expect you to prepare students (with or without conducting experience) for specific conducting assignments required of an opera repetiteur (instrumental and vocal). You will be working closely with our Head of Music, as well with other IOA staff members in a positive and encouraging environment.
For this purpose, we offer a part-time contract for the coming season, with a flexible schedule.
