Supported by AEC – Association Européenne des Conservatoires and Music + Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK)

Entirely online, the IMZ Academy “The complete performer of the future – embracing media skills in music education” explores how conservatories can integrate media skills training into their syllabi to prepare students effectively for the challenges + opportunities presented by the digital world.
After last year’s successful first edition of this IMZ Academy, senior leaders at conservatories and outstanding young musicians will once again examine the relevance of media skills training in higher music education from their respective angles and present best practice examples.
Register before 15 October to profit from Early Bird discounts!Due to Covid-19, digital has become almost the only means for artists to perform. There has been an explosion of online creativity, with individuals often taking the lead ahead of organisations. It’s certain that when “normal life” resumes, things will have changed forever and how young musicians are taught to navigate + leverage the digital world will be crucial.
Therefore, this course will outline the knowledge required by conservatoires to position themselves and their students in the digital world, and help conservatories define their digital strategies + curricula for the benefit of their students. In addition, the experts will explore the role that digital skills can play in the development of the complete classical musician of the future.Register now:
