General Information

As a partner of the Paris CRR, Sorbonne-Paris IV and Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris III, it forms with them the Pôle Supérieur Paris-Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB), offering a range of undergraduate courses and awarding, in particular, the State Diploma (DE) for music teachers.

The CRR welcomes about 1400 students, of which nearly 400 are in the pre-professional training phase, and has a team of 114 teachers and assistants of exemplary and recognised quality, supported by an administrative and technical staff of 32.

The young students of Boulogne can receive a complete musical and dance education: after the COOM introductory cycle, students can join classes with special timetables (CHAM and CHAD) which allow them, within the school time, to better reconcile general education and artistic training, or to continue at their own pace with a traditional curriculum. A drama training cycle has also been open since 2011.

Perpetuating a long tradition of exchange and openness, the CRR is developing multiple partnerships, including beyond our borders.

Educational innovation and creation are at the heart of a rich and varied programme of concerts, performances, master classes and lectures by teachers and students, joined by guest artists.

Through the public expression of the talents of its teachers and the fruits of its pedagogical activities, the Boulogne-Billancourt Conservatory is one of the major players in the cultural life of the city of Boulogne-Billancourt and the Grand Paris Seine Ouest agglomeration community, thus contributing greatly to their reputation.
