The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislavais thehighest accredited , educational, artistic, scientific , and research institution.It was established in 1949, it is thepublic university.Ithasthree faculties: Faculty of Music and Dance, Faculty of Theatre, and Faculty of Film and Television.The Faculty of Music and Dancetrainsconcert artists,singers, composers,conductors,dancers and choreographers and provides educationfor the studentsin thedisciplinesof music theory.TheFaculty of Music and Dance is located in the historical building in thecity centre. Studentshave the accesstomany facilities, like the concert hall called Dvorana,the smallconcert hall with Steinwaypiano anda modernballet room.
