WORK FOR AN INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLE

Since 1985 the organising committee of the "Festival International de Musiques Sacrées, Fribourg" has regularly held a sacred music Composition Competition.

The Competition aims to promote original works which take their inspiration from sacred texts or themes.

Closing date: October 15, 2017
 

First Prize of the 2017 Competition  
CHF 10 000.- (ten thousand Swiss Francs) 
Second Prize of the 2017 Competition
CHF 2000.- (two thousand Swiss Francs)

and world premiere of the prizewinning composition (First Prize) by the Ensemble Instrumental de l' HEMU on July 1, 2018 during the 17th International Fribourg Festival of Sacred Music (Switzerland).
