We are proud and happy to announce that the Pop and Jazz working group has jointly decided to designate a new Chairwoman and therefore, since June 2020, Linda Bloemhard became a Chair of the PJP Working Group.
Linda has been a member of the AEC Pop and Jazz working group since 2016. She has been working as a professional in the music industry since 1980 and in music education since 1999. As a former student at the Rotterdam Conservatory she started her journey as a musician, singer, performer, songwriter, co-producer, teacher, coordinator, founder and head of department Pop at Codarts University of the Arts (2000-2010) and now as the head of the Jazz department at Codarts since 2010.
At the same time, we would like to say a big THANK YOU to Lars Andersson who was a PJP working group member since 2014 and who was successfully and effectively chairing the PJP Working Group since 2017.
Thank you, Lars, for your commitment and outstanding work and we wish Linda best of luck with the new role!
