The AEC is delighted to announce the new composition of the European Platform for Artistic Research in Music (EPARM) and the Pop and Jazz Platform (PJP) Working Groups.

The candidates, selected through the call for applications published in May,will be responsible for shaping and delivering the annual events of these platforms for the next three editions.

The European Platform for Artistic Research in Music (EPARM) is an annual AEC initiative that supports Artistic Research in Higher Music Education by encouraging the exchange of knowledge and outcomes, fostering new ideas, and strengthening both the discourse and the community around Artistic Research.
EPARM 2026 will take place from 9 to 11 April 2026 at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo (Norway).

The Pop and Jazz Platform (PJP) is an annual meeting organised by the AEC that aims to promote and support Higher Education in popular music and jazz by addressing educational, pedagogical, musical, and professional issues related to genre diversity.

The next edition of the PJP Meeting will be held from 12 to 15 February 2026 at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki (Finland).

Events Calls for contributions

The Calls for contributions for both PJP 2026 and EPARM 2026 will be open in the autumn of 2025.
