AEC is happy to announce that, since the beginning of the year, five new member institutions have joined our community.
Four of them have become Active members, category dedicated to any conservatoire, academy or university of music, Musikhochschule or other equivalent institution in Europe aiming at educating students for the music profession. These are the following:
- Conservatorio di Musica ‘Giovan Battista Martini’ in Bologna (Italy)
- Kurmangazy, Kazakh National Conservatory in Almaty (Kazakhstan)
- Vilniaus Kolegija, University of Applied Sciences in Vilnius (Lithuania)
- Ege University, Turkish Music State Conservatory in Izmir (Turkey)
The Golden Jazz, Contemporary Music Institute (CMI) in Zhuhai (China) has become Associate member of AEC. Their mission is to provide a world music, jazz and commercial approach within their educational focus, committed to use traditional jazz education as the foundation to their educational platforms.
AEC is a European cultural and educational network representing nearly 300 Higher Music Education institutions in 58 countries across Europe and beyond.
