In recent years, interest in traditional, folk and global music has grown significantly, both in the music industry, among audiences and in higher music education. Following the wishes of many members and the growing diversity of its network, the AEC wants to increase its strategic focus on this part of music life.
We are therefore thrilled to announce the establishment of a new Working Group: the AEC Traditional, Folk, and Global Music Working Group (TFG WG). Members of this group will support the AEC and its community by advancing teaching methods, promoting knowledge creation and dissemination, and serving as ambassadors for the AEC in this field.
Applications to join the TFG WG are now open.
