IX edition of "Comporre oggi” (Composing today) will be organised by the Contemporary Music Deparment of the Conservatorio di Musica “Alfredo Casella” L’Aquila online on 22-23 October on Zoom, with simultaneous interpretation (Italian/English) available.
Internationally renowned composers of contemporary scene from England, France and Italy, Erryllyn Wallen, Ivan Fedele and Michele Tadini, will present their performances, videos and lectures. At the end, a round table on contemporary music will be organised by the composition students of the “A. Casella" Conservatory of Music. “Comporre Oggi” will also host the presentation of the volume by Renzo Cresti, Musica Presente, Lim. 2019.

Thursday 22 October
2.15pm (CET – Central European Time): greeting from the Director of the Conservatory “A. Casella” and opening ceremony
2.30pm: lecture by Errollyn Wallen (Royal College of Music, London)
5.00pm: In collaboration with “Musica +”, presentation of the volume by Renzo Cresti, Musica presente. Tendenze e compositori di oggi, LIM, Lucca, 2019.
Thursday 23 October
9.30am: lecture by Ivan Fedele (Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Roma – Biennale Musica, Venezia)
12.00pm: lecture by Michele Tadini (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse, Lyon)
