As part of the AEC Annual Meeting for International Relations Coordinators, which took place at the prestigious Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest from 17 to 19 September 2025, the Erasmus Orchestra presented a special public concert on the evening of 19 September at 7:30 pm in the Liszt Academy auditorium. This festive occasion celebrated the values of cultural exchange, collaboration, and peace that lie at the heart of the Erasmus+ programme.
The Orchestra featured more than 50 talented young musicians, selected from conservatoires across Erasmus+ countries, who performed alongside students from the Liszt Academy. This unique ensemble embodied the spirit of European cooperation, demonstrating how music can transcend borders and create meaningful connections among people from diverse backgrounds.
Beyond its artistic significance, the concert represented a symbolic moment in which music became a universal language of unity, highlighting the role of conservatoires and higher music education institutions as bridges between cultures.

The performance was conducted by Maestro Elio Orciuolo, from the Conservatoire of Monopoli “Nino Rota”, who led the musicians through a rich and inspiring programme showcasing both the dynamism of the young performers and the diversity of European musical traditions. Prior to the concert, students Ana Habruk (Ukraine), Mateusz Woch (Poland) and Sara Harutyunyan (Armenia) took the floor to tell the audience how the Erasmus programme had changed their lives.
