The first European Music School Symposium is organized by the Department of Cultural Management and Gender Studies, University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in cooperation with the European Music School Union and the Conference of Austrian Music School Associations.

The Institut für Kulturmanagement und Gender Studies (IKM) is also happy to announce its third Keynotes: Lauri Väkevä and Heidi Westerlund from Sibelius Academy Helsinki!
The symposium pogramme will start on Friday October 6th at 1 p.m. and the closing ceremony will be held on Saturday October 7th at 5 p.m. (Completed schedule will be soon online.)
Besides the keynotes there will be 40 parallel sessions with presentators from 19 European countries, panel discussions and of course music!
