From 24th to 27th April 2019, the I International Trumpet Congress of the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Salvador Seguí" of Castellón will take place. 
 

Why this Congress?

In the 21st century, art colleges and music conservatories are no longer excluded from scientific research, rather there is a variety of ways to use it as part of the creative process of art, education, historical research, many others. Research goes hand in hand with music from a more quantitative perspective (which studies the physical phenomenon, neuromotricity or certain parts of human behavior) up to and also with the newest paradigms of research such as performative research in arts that address the phenomenon of the cultural creation from the own practice. The organisation went on that spiral and infinite path through qualitative research, historical method, action research, case study in the fields of musicology, music education, the design of methodological strategies, among many others. The higher institution in arts becomes more and more involved in the demands and benefits of research. It offers new opportunities for knowledge, artistic practice and reflection on the phenomenon of music.
