The first Transnational Project Meeting of the HarMA HUB project, co-funded by the European Union, has taken place on 18-19 January at the Akademia Muzyczna im Stanislawa Moniuszky w Gdansku in Poland. The meeting gathered all project partners for a 2-days programme which included an overall update of the project status, preliminary discussions on the upcoming activities to be held later in the year, a recap of the communication and dissemination actions, and bilateral meetings on administrative and financial matters. The programme was complemented by cultural visits to the Young Town and to the European Solidarity Center in Gdansk.

HarMA Intensive Training Week for Students, 23-27 April 2024

The HarMA Intensive Training Week for Students will take place on 23-27 April 2024 at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, targeting students and teachers from the partner institutions for a full week training programme focusing on music theory. The 5-days programme will put in place the tools developed within the project in order to broaden student’s perception of music theory courses as it is taught in different EU countries. The main objective of the programme is to meet different pedagogical approaches and educational methods at a practical level. Moreover, the HarMA Intensive Training Week for Students will aim at:

  • Allowing students to learn and share knowledge with peers from different countries
  • Helping students acquire foreign language skills in professional terminology
  • Helping students to encounter subjects, perspectives and analytical methods that are not part of the educational programme at their conservatoire

HarMA International Seminar Event, 14-16 April 2025

The HarMA International Seminar Event will take place on 14-16 April 2025 at the Conservatori Superior de Música Joaquín Rodrigo in Valencia, bringing together teachers, researchers, students and external stakeholders with the main objective of fostering transnational collaboration and knowledge exchange on music theory subjects. Attendees will participate in workshops, lectures and discussions, and will have access to the resources developed within the frame of the HarMA HUB project. Furthermore, the HarMA International Seminar Event will constitute the main platform for the dissemination of the project outcomes at European and international levels.

The 3-days gathering will provide attendees with the opportunity to engage in a variety of learning and teaching activities. These will cover a wide range of topics related to music theory, providing participants with a deep and comprehensive understanding. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with their peers and build valuable professional relationships. The structure of the event is still under development, but will cover the following overarching topics: 

  • Day 1: opening key-note and presentation of the HarMA HUB project 
  • Day 2: workshop on HarMA HUB platform, session on eLearning practices
  • Day 3: networking and conclusions
