The II International Internet Competition Constantine the Great is organised online by the Faculty of Arts in Niš, the University of Niš and the City of Niš, in order to connect people, remove all geographical barriers, and open the possibility for pupils, students and artists from all over the world to participate.
The Competition is organised in year-round cycles with the aim of developing, affirming young artists and strengthening international cultural relations.
The Competition comprises Music, Visual and Applied arts, including the following 15 disciplines: World music, Chamber music, Wind instruments, String instruments, Piano, Solo singing, Guitar, Accordion, Percussions, Complementary piano, Vocal ensembles, Drawing, Printmaking, Poster and Photography.
As the completion of the Competition annual cycle, a Gala concert of the laureates and the winners of the I Competition was to be organised on 3rd June 2020 in honour of the City of Niš celebration – St. Emperor Constantine and Empress Helena. However, due to the circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Laureates presented themselves with videos on the official YouTube channel of the Competition. The video of the laureates of II Competition will be broadcast on 3rd June 2021 in honour of the City of Niš celebration.
