The International Society of Music Education (ISME) Music in Schools and Music Teacher Education Commission’s (MISTEC) pre-conference seminar “Sustaining and Building Resilience in Music Education” will take place in Tallinn, Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre on 22-26 July 2024.
The theme of the 2024 Music in Schools and Teacher Education Commission (MISTEC) Seminar is “Sustaining and Building Resilience in Music Education”.
Workshop, paper and poster presentations have been selected through a rigorous peer-review process. At the Seminar, presenters from around the world will highlight ways to extend current theoretical and educational thinking, together with exchanging innovative practical approaches for music education and teacher education.
The collaboration fostered through this intimate, dialogic seminar enables the shared development of educational policies and practices geared towards sustaining and building resilience in music education.
The conference will bring together researchers, music education advocates and practitioners from around the world.
