The three-day international workshop will be held in Brescia, Italy, from 29 to 31 January 2026. It will take place under the theme “European Funding Projects, Mobility and Digitisation: Practical Tools for the Internationalisation of Higher Music Education Institutions”.
This workshop, organised by the AEC – European Association of Conservatoires within the framework of the PNRR project IartNet and hosted by the Conservatorio Luca Marenzio in Brescia, offers a comprehensive and practice-oriented exploration of European funding opportunities and Erasmus+ mobility processes relevant to higher music education institutions.
The event brings together experienced practitioners and experts to guide participants through key EU programmes and tools that support international cooperation, project development, and student and staff mobility. Through a balanced mix of expert presentations, interactive discussion groups, and hands-on demonstrations, participants will gain both a strategic overview and concrete operational skills, especially in relation to the EASY MO system, the AEC’s European Application System for Mobility in Higher Music Education.
Day 1: 29 January
The first day will focus on European project funding opportunities, including Creative Europe, Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), Jean Monnet Actions, International Credit Mobility (KA171), and University Alliances. The project IN.TUNE will be presented as a practical example from the music field. Participants will collaborate in groups to explore how these funding lines can support their own institutional strategies and project ideas.
Days 2 & 3: 30-31 January
The programme will then shift to Erasmus+ mobility, with detailed sessions on KA131 rules, shared principles, and implementation challenges for student and staff mobility. An extensive EASY MO training will also be offered, featuring hands-on demonstrations of semester mobility applications, digital learning agreements, short mobilities, and Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) within the EASY Mobility Online system.
