Throughout the summer, there have been multiple leadership changes within the AEC member institutions:
Prof. PhDr. Martin Smatlak took over as newly elected Rector of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava on 30 June 2023.
Alexandre Jung succeeded Vincent Dubois as director of the Conservatoire de Strasbourg on 16 August 2023.
Uffe Savary will be leaving his position as president of the RDAM Copenhagen to devote himself in the future entirely to his artistic work; current vice-president Niels Rosing-Schow will take over on an interim basis.
Bernd Redmann, former long-standing principal of the HfMTh Munich, will succeed Rico Gubler as President of Musikhochschule Lübeck.
Axel Köhler, previously Rector of the HfM Dresden, will take over the long-vacant leadership at HMDK Stuttgart.
