How do you develop your ability to be curious? How do you learn from other disciplines and why should you? Join the online public presentation of the Looking Outward project on Tuesday 26 October from 18:15-19:30 CET.
At its core, the Looking Outward project is an act of curiosity and a belief that we can learn and create extraordinary things when we work across disciplines and sectors.
It is also a short course for music students and recent alumni initiated by Miranda Harmer (UK) and Camilla Overgaard (DK) in collaboration with the Centre for Excellence in Music Performance Education (CEMPE).
Over a three month period, young musicians from across Europe worked with an experienced economist, technical product designer, and a multi-disciplinary artist to encourage curiosity within their own artistic and musical practices, resulting in newfound methodologies and inspiration.
This was complemented with mindset coaching by musician, performance psychologist, and coach Vourneen Ryan (IRL).
Curious? Join the online public presentation to see what the participants have learned – and whether it will pique your appetite for developing your own curiosity.
