The AEC office is pleased to inform all our members that the membership fee invoices for the year 2025 were sent out on 17th and 20th January. During the AEC General Assembly held on 16th November in Milan, the membership fees for 2025 were approved, and the details can be consulted here. For Active members, the invoice amounts are based on the updated number of music-related students provided by each institution for the academic year 2024–2025.
Please note that an early bird rate applies to fees received before 1st April 2025, and that institutions making use of the early bird discount after this deadline will be contacted to settle the full amount. We encourage you to check your spam folder and contact Alfonso Guerra, AEC Membership and Finance Coordinator at alfonsoguerra@aec-music.eu if you encounter any issues or require adjustments.
AEC-ELIA Double membership fee discount
As in previous years, institutions that are members of both AEC and ELIA are eligible to apply for a 10% discount on their membership fees for both organisations.
- For first-time applicants, the discount is available only upon request.
- Institutions granted the discount last year are kindly requested to send a confirmation email to both organisations, including the updated number of students for the academic year 2024–2025 and evidence of their affiliation (e.g., last year’s membership fee invoices).
Applications for the double membership discount must be submitted to both offices by 1st April 2025, which is also the deadline for the early bird rate. More information on the application procedure and conditions is available here.
Addressing an invoice issue
We apologise to institutions that received an invoice with the mention “number of students not provided,” despite having sent the updated number of students. This was due to an internal system error. A corrected invoice reflecting the accurate information has been sent shortly thereafter. Please note that the invoice amounts remain unchanged. The system successfully processed the amounts based on the updated student numbers, even though the description on the initial invoice did not reflect this information.
Thank you for your understanding, and please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
