MUISC4D announces the official launch of our groundbreaking advanced training program, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Music starting on February 19, 2026. This 8-week program, synchronous and asynchronous, is designed to explore the fascinating intersections between cutting-edge technology and musical expression.

This course offers a unique curriculum that transitions from theoretical foundations to applied creativity, providing music professionals with a powerful new expressive framework. Participants will master Generative AI and Prompt Engineering to guide content generation , explore Robotics and Human-Robot Interaction to see how autonomous agents collaborate with performers , and dive deep into Audio Signal Processing including spectral analysis and sound synthesis. The journey culminates in an intensive laboratory where students develop a functional prototype, such as an improvising agent or a semantic synthesizer.

Inclusion is at the heart of this initiative, as the program is open to students, faculty members, and technical-administrative staff. Led by a team of experts including Professors Francesco Pupo, Riccardo Sarti, Sandro Mungianu, and Rashmi Chawla, the course ensures a balance of academic rigor and hands-on application.

The total duration is 39 hours and the entire program is hosted on the University of Calabria’s robust digital infrastructure. You can access the course and begin your journey into the next wave of sonic innovation at https://mooc.unical.it/
