MusiQuE’s third webinar ‘Balancing internal quality assurance and external quality assurance – experiences from higher music education institutions’ will take place online on Wednesday 9 March at 11:00-12:30 CET.
MusiQuE is delighted to announce the composition of the speakers panel and their presentation topics:
- Oliver Vettori (Dean Accreditation and Quality Management – Vienna University of Economics and Business) will introduce a comparison between internal quality assurance and external quality assurance as well as relevant practical elements and future challenges in quality assurance.
- Janneke Ravenhorst (Head of Quality Culture Office – Royal Conservatoire (KC) The Hague): will explain how Quality Culture has been constructed upon internal and external quality assurance at her institution.
- Brian Weir (Director of Student Experience – Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff) : will show how quality assurance is embedded in his institution’s strategic development.
The webinar will be moderated by Orla McDonagh (MusiQuE Board member and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at TU Dublin). The related concepts and challenges faced by higher (music) education institutions when developing procedures combining internal and external quality assurance will be discussed in an open Q&A session at the closing of the event.
