New EASY Mobility Online – news and important dates
As announced to all internal users of the EASY – European Online System for Mobility in Higher Music Education, the AEC will start the pilot period with the Austrian company SoP Mobility Online in June. Dreamapply will stay active for real applications and customer support until the Autumn, while during the Summer there will be time for internal institutions to get acquainted with the new Mobility Online system and do some trials with fellow IRCs. This way, we will be able to apply any necessary adjustments before we start using the system for real applications in the Fall Semester. The exact dates will be announced in the coming months.
Input by EASY internal institutions needed
As the connection with EWP is still a complex matter, we need an insight of the situation before telling internal institutions the next step in this regard. Therefore, we kindly ask all internal users to fill in THIS QUESTIONNAIRE by June 2nd.
The internal institutions which agreed to participate in the pilot of Easy Mobility Online should fill in the Excel document attached about their Inter-Institutional Agreements by 9th June, in order to set up their institutional profiles.
Launch of the New EASY Mobility Online System and Training Days
1.The new system will be officially shown to all internal users for the first time during the first training that will take place online on Zoom on Tuesday 6th June at 10:00 – 12:00 CET at this link. Time to ask questions to the Mobility Online team will be provided.
Don’t worry if you cannot be there: we will record the session and send it to you. You will be able to send questions via email afterwards.
At this point, two demo institutions will be created and access will be provided to all internal institutions to navigate the various functionalities and make trials.
2. The second online training will take place on Tuesday 27th June from 10:00 to 12:00 CET at the same link as the previous training. At this point, the real profiles of internal institutions will be available and access credentials will be provided. Institutions will be able to enter their data, customise their settings if needed and further try out the system. Don’t worry if you cannot be there: we will record the session and send it to you. You will be able to send questions via email afterwards.
3. Finally, a live training will take place at the IRC meeting in Leuven on 20th September from 14:00 to 18:00 at LUCA School of the Arts. The Mobility Online team as well as the EASY Task Force will be there and we will go through the system and EWP matters in detail. In order to attend this training, IRCs are kindly asked to register for the IRC meeting (registrations will be launched on the AEC website in the second half of June). This session will not be recorded and it will not be possible to follow online.
See you online and in Leuven for this new digital adventure!
