The Pôle supérieur d’enseignement artistique Paris – Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB) and Sorbonne University have established a unique second-cycle diploma in France, the Master’s in Research and Practice, specifically oriented towards orchestral professions, which combines high-level research and practice. Structured from intense and regular orchestral productions, this training will involve internationally renowned artists such as Deborah Nemtanu, Claire Levacher, Xavier Gagnepain, Paul Serri for the 2025-2026 season, in close connection with professional production, distribution organizations and venues: Théâtre de la Concorde, Festival de Saint-Denis in particular, to offer a very open playground to students, in terms of aesthetics, historical periods or formats, and to enable them to develop professional expertise of excellence in the broad field of today’s orchestral practices.
