To our regret, the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp will, due to Covid-related restrictions, not be able to host this year's Annual Congress. The Conservatoire has instead offered to host the AEC Congress in 2021, hopefully then in a full-scale format. The AEC has accepted this proposal with great satisfaction. However, there will still be an AEC Congress in 2020! The University of Music and Performing Arts (mdw) in Vienna has declared its readiness to host this year's Congress on the originally scheduled date, (6 and 7 November) although it will, due to the circumstances, take place mostly as an online event of a shorter duration. We are grateful to our colleagues in mdw for hosting us and look forward to our gathering, albeit virtually.
More detailed information on the further planning of this year's congress will be communicated to the AEC community in due time.
