Registrations for the AEC Pop & Jazz Platform 2025 are now open!

The next PJP Meeting will take place in Pamplona (Spain) on 27 February – 2 March 2025,  hosted by Conservatorio Superior de Música de Navarra (CSMN).

The theme for the 2025 edition of the PJP Meeting is Mother Tongue: European Identities in Heritage, Pedagogy, and Repertoire.

With this, the host institution and the PJP Working Group want to create discussions about how our native languages on the one hand, and the dominance of the English language in Western popular culture on the other, shape our identities, and affect our choices of repertoire, the way music is taught and learned in our institutions, and the state of musical traditions and Indigenous forms of music in our countries.

Deadline: 17 February (or at reached capacity)

Please note that this year we have a capacity limitation at our venue, so be sure to register on time to ensure your participation in the conference.

Registrations will close on the day of the deadline (17 February) or earlier if we reach the limit. To ensure your attendance, please register before booking any flights or accommodation.

Student presence is encouraged!

We would like to remind all AEC members to bring their students along to connect with students from other institutions and immerse themselves in the PJP community!

We would also like to encourage you to bring your own instrument, as there will be a couple of sessions where you will be able to play it along with probably more informal moments.

Information related to the fee payment, accommodation, programme, and the registration form can be found on the webpage of the event and will be updated in the upcoming weeks. For detailed information please contact Beatriz Laborda (PJP WG Coordinator) at beatrizlaborda@aec-music.eu.
