The Classical Next Meeting 2020 has been postponed following the covid-19 pandemic.
In the meantime Classical: NEXT will hold a zoom meeting this Thursday 30 April from 15:00 to 16:00 hrs CET.
Deborah Kelleher and John Kieser, who were the pre-conference coordinators, will host this meeting to discuss the issues HME are facing due to the corona virus. 

In preparation for the meeting, here is a list of topics and questions that have emerged during this pandemic :

  • The student experience – delivering value when activities are restricted such as ensemble rehearsal and performances
  • Best practices in digital education; use of low latency (LoLa) and other platforms, online teaching skills, concerns about student safety, establishing online protocols
  • Opportunities arising from the crisis and emerging methodologies
  • Institutional re-opening best practices and preparation for future Coronavirus flare-ups
  • Creating a list of online resources
  • Student, faculty and staff psychological health
