It is Classical:NEXT's goal and mission to be a meeting place for all those dealing professionally with classical music, with the ambition to cover the whole range from creative art to music business and from media to education. Classical:NEXT hosts a major event once a year which is both trade fair and a conference.
Further establishing contacts between AEC and Classical:NEXT is expected to be of mutual benefit for both partners. AEC members might gain increased access to networks in the music industry. On the other hand, Classical:NEXT's representatives and attendees, can connect directly with the world of conservatoires and music universities.
Classical: NEXT 2019 will be held in Rotterdam from 15 to 19 May, offering amongst others a set of sessions to bring Higher Music Education and the Music Industry closer to each other.
