SWAIP is a partnership formed by European higher education institutions working towards educational development in the field of arts, well-being and social inclusion. The project aims at introducing students to art’s abilities to make connections and facilitating well-being, empowerment and strengthen self-confidence, training flexible and sensitive artists, capable of relating to advanced ideas and finding new roles in the constant changing society.In the framework of the SWAIP project, the Iceland University of the Arts will host a webinar on Social Inclusion and Well-Being through the Arts and Interdisciplinary Practices. During the conference, there will be a reflection on the findings of the SWAIP Erasmus+ project (2018-2021) and a new study program, expected to launch autumn 2022 at the Iceland University of the Arts will be introduced. The seminar will take place online on 10 June from 14:00 to 16:30 CET. Deadline for registration is 8 June.

The consortium, which has developed a new study programme aiming to train artists to work with social inclusion in their artistic projects, is formed by the Iceland University of the Arts, University of Porto, University of Alicante, University of Hertfordshire, Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki and AEC. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme.
