The AEC is happy to present and support the initiative of researchers from Erasmus University in Rotterdam by sharing with you the Survey of Popular Music Teaching in Europe.
It presents relevant information to popular music and aims at collecting information on the state of the Popular Music Teaching at higher music education institutions across Europe.
This survey is addressed to the head of institutions regardless if they offer a popular music program or not. The deadline to fill in the survey is June 15, 2020.
The survey was initiated and designed by researchers from Codarts University for the Arts (Rotterdam). The researchers involved in this study can be reached at popresearch@eur.nl.
The findings and first results will be widely disseminated within the AEC community and during the Pop and Jazz Platform in 2021 in Łódź, Poland.
